Print help, in plain language.
Quick answers about artwork, proofs, production, and getting the best result from your print job.
What does print-ready mean?
A print-ready file has the correct final size, bleed, colours, and sufficient image quality. PDF is usually the safest format. If you are unsure, upload the source design package or use our design-help option.
What are bleed and safety lines?
Bleed extends backgrounds beyond the final cut so no white edge appears. The safety line sits inside the trim and keeps important text or logos away from the cut.
Why can’t I upload JPG or PNG as final artwork?
Those formats are often flattened or too low-resolution for production. They can still be placed inside the 4C PrintHub design editor, where the portal checks their estimated print quality.
When does production begin?
Production starts after your proof is approved and payment requirements are satisfied, unless a staff member records an authorized override.
Can I reorder an old job?
Yes. Open My Orders or Reorder, select a completed job, review its specifications, and submit a new quantity or updated artwork.
Bleed & safety guide
Default bleed is 0.125 inch. Keep text 0.125 inch inside the trim edge.
Accepted final files
PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, CDR, PSD, INDD, and ZIP.
Private artwork
Production files are stored privately and only authorized staff can download them.
